Hello, the theme I’m going to talk about is related to roles of woman and men in my family and if this topic has changed through time.
First of all, I would like to say that I think that the roles of both sexes have changed a lot in last years. Years ago, the woman was always in the house. She just did the housework and cared her daughters and sons and the man worked to get money, but now, women are more active in work area and the responsibility to education and care about children is shared in this moment, and the mother isn’t the only responsible for it.
In my family, the roles of woman and man are similar. Both of my parents work and, when I lived with them, they was in the same condition, I mean, both of them did the housework and worked to get money.
My father is a trader and my mother work in a small hospital in the countryside and her job is similar to nursing.
For example: my father used to do the shopping or to cook for us, he washed dishes too, and mother was in the same situation.
Actually, the people need more money to live, I mean, all the things, like food or electricity for example, are more expensive and this is one of the reasons why is necessary that the woman of the family work too, in relation to the past. Another reason: I think that women were tired about to be only in the house, and tired to do the same things everyday and every year for all the rest of her life. I would be tired too.
In relation to this, my personal opinion is this situation is a good thing in our life because men have some characteristics and women have others different and these features can be complemented and to get better results in different areas, but I don’t believe that we have to be equals with men and to be better than the others, I believe that is good to be different and I think that the more important aspect is that we must to have the same opportunities to personal development in every things that we would like to do and finally, other important aspect is respect for other people.
